Ocean Towers is a mid-century modern building and was constructed in 1971 by J.H. Snyder Company & Loews Corporation and was designed by William Krisel, a pioneering architect who brought his vision of modernism to Southern California tract housing, he was best known for his pioneering designs of mid-century residential and commercial. Ocean Towers was converted into a co-op building in 1978.
